Dear all,

I made a class diagram model a few months that I have been using for code generation. Some days ago the code generator started hiccuping, I ran the validator again and a series of errors like this is now coming up:

Unreferenceable element: model::Simulation View::Protected

The past few days I have trying to figure what this is about, but in vain. There is no obvious error in the model and the search engine turns up zero results for the error message.

Any hints on what may be causing this are welcome. Thank you.

I see this error (almost?) every time when I update a profile and apply its validation rules on a model that uses this profile, without opening/closing the model.
(this also means that closing and re-opening the model solves the issue for me). I haven't been digging deeper into this so far...

HTH,

Hi Klaas, thank you for stopping by.

In my case, closing and opening the model does not solve it. Perhaps because I am not on Winblows? Smile

Any other hints are welcome.

Hello again,

I have opened a new bug report over this issue:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=438955

The problem is that I really need to generate code from this model. Beyond the suggestion to close and re-open the model, is there any hint on how to overcome this? Thank you.
