ManhattanConnectionRouter and directions [message #241449] Tue, 12 February 2008 14:36

Hi,

I've been using the simple ManhattanConnectionRouter many times before, but
I get some strange routing under
certain conditions. Let's say I have two Nodes A and B. Both have an
invisible border left and right, so that the
connectionAnchors I return actually don't lie on the real boundary of the
node. If that happens I get something like
this:

------ --------
| A | | || B |
| | |_____________|| |
------ --------

So the routing direction from A to B is down first, then over to B and then
up again instead of just a straight line. I A or B gets higher, it works as
desired.

Any suggestions about that?

Regards,
Andreas
