Hi There

I have been trying to customise View Model in ECP 1.2.x
I created the viewmodel file in my development workspace and registered
it using the extnpoint.

Then ran the e3 application and then created a project and imported the
viewmodel and started editing the viewmodel. But when i try to place a
control and select an eattribute or if i place a table and select a
feature i get a NullPointerException.

Pls look at the screenshot attached to understand the prblem better.
I want to know if this is a bug in ECP or a feature that i am not using
properly

Regards
Malai

Hi,

could you please post the full stack trace? Are you aware that with the
1.3.x release (currently M4) you can modify the view model within the
IDE? See

Best Regards

Hi Jonas

I upgraded to ECP 1.3 in Kepler. But then i have a similar problem. So i
create a ViewModel and then when i try to customise the feature path on
a control. I get a Null Pointer Exception as shown in the screenshot
attached before.

To be on ECP 1.3 do i have to be on Luna. Coz i was even unable to make
a successful custom RCP Build using Maven Tycho which was running with
ECP 1.2 Repo.

Regards
Malai
