Hi all,

I downloaded GEF using the update site. More convenient that manually
download, extract, move the plugins and feature ...

But today i noticed that the GEF feature donwloaded from update site
doesn't contains GEF and draw2d help plugins. I was thinking that these 2
plugins were part of the feature.

What do you think about that ?

Should i add an entry to GEF bugzilla for enhancement ?

Thanks

Manuel

Hi Manuel

You need to selected the SDK feature to get the doc.isv plug-ins. The
runtime feature does not include the documentation.

Cheers...
Anthony

Hi Anthony,

You suggested me to install the GEF SDK and not Gef runtime, but using the
eclipse default update site i haven't choice, i just have one feature.

Does it mean that my update URL for GEf is not the good one ? (It s inside
Calisto projects default category)

Thanks

Manuel

Hi Manuel,

I loaded Callisto and see what you mean, The Callisto update site does
indeed only have an update for the runtime.

The GEF Feature should provide an additional entry in the list of update
sites however, this is also missing. I added
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=183766

For now, the GEF 3.2.2 update site is
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/gef/update-site/releases/s ite.xml and the
SDK is available there.

Cheers...
Anthony
