JavaScript editor in a separate window [message #224545] Fri, 28 November 2008 15:36 Go to next message

Hello,

I'm have an editor for a configuration file, which contains snippets of
JavaScript. Currently, the JavaScript is edited in a SWT Text widget,
but I'd like to have code completion and syntax highlighting. What I
would like to have, is a bit like the condition editor for Java
line-breakpoints.

Can this be done with the JSDT, and is there an example of something
like this?

Thanks,
Erik.

We have the exact same issue! How can this be done within the JSDT
paradigm? are there any examples?

Would it be possible to have a JSEditorPage that could be added in a FormEditor ?

Any pointers on how to integrate or reuse the JSEditor in other editors ?

Cheers,

Alex
