Greetings,

Having an ecore file, after creating a dynamic instance (xmi file) or in
any other way, is it possible to edit data inside an existing XML file
using the Generic EMF Forms Editor?

Thanks.

A few changes to my question:

after researching a little more i realized that a XMI file is generated
from an ecore and the ecore is generated from a XSD.
If i have a XML with the same XSD as the XMI, it means that my XML and
XMI files represent the same information in a different way, however the
XMI has empty attributes.
To work the XML with oAW Generic Forms Editor, one approach is to make
my XML point to the same ecore as the XMI file, but this means having to
manually edit all the files (i actually tried this and it works as i
want it to). Is there a way to solve this problem with a more decent
approach?
