No 'Project Explorer' entry in 'Show in' menu [message #1288222]

I'm using EPIC plugin for Perl and PyDev plugin for Python. When the former is active and I go to Navigate|Show In there are the following entries: Navigator, System Explorer and Properties. When the latter is activate I see the following entries: Navigator, PyDev Package Explorer, Outline, System Explorer and Properties. In both cases there's no Project Explorer on the list. What's the reason? As Project Explorer comes with the Eclipse itself (and is meant as a replacement for Navigator IIRC) then why Navigator is present and Project Explorer is not? Is this determined exclusively by perspective being active?
