Hi,

when I try to open a JavaScript file, I occasionally get an error dialog saying "Multiple problems have occurred", "org.eclipse.core.runtime.AssertionFailedException", and "null argument:" in the Details box. At other times it works fine. What should I do about this?

My project is a Grails project, and I've added JavaScript support with the "Web Development Tools -> Add JavaScript support" command from project's context menu.

I'm running the Ganymede M7 package of Eclipse for Java EE on Linux x86_64, Sun JDK 6.

Log output follows.

Cheers,

Marcus

It looks like you're reusing a workspace from an earlier release.
Eclipse remembers the ID of the last editor you used to open a file,
so you'd see this on files you opened in prior releases but not on
files that you never opened before. With the massive Javascript
retooling that is in the 3.0 builds, the old editor just isn't
around any more. Use the file's context menu's "Open With" submenu
to choose the new editor.

Correct.
