I am trying to configure the Eclipse CDT indexer to index correctly the Linux kernel source code but I fail. You can see my configuration in the screenshots in the links. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

did you check the Eclipse documentation and CDT-FAQ (https://wiki.eclipse.org/CDT/User/FAQ)?

And here is a nice article from a guy who tried to use CDT with a other big open source project - Firefox!
Maybe there you can find some hints to solve your problems...

Thanks for the info, I have checked the eclipse official guides before posting and couldn't find a solution to my problem. No offence, but I would prefair a more authoritative answer.

Regarding, Klaus answer, I am not sure you will find a more authoritative answers on this topic. Documentation was never eclipse strong side Sad I looked at the link that Klaus posted and it is pretty good (maybe some tricks that could help with Eclipse performance are missing). You can ask if there is a better documentation in eclipse developers mailing list.
