I am using a java project already created on our system. This java project has env.properties file in it. When I create runnable jar file without this env.properties file, and then run it on cmd line, it fails.

I have another roject without .properties file which I have created and when I run this file, it runs fine.

So how does eclipse know, which project has jar file and which one does not ? Where do I specify where and which properties to look for ?

Thanks
