Probably best to ask this on the eclipse.webtools newsgroup, which I've
copied to this response.

Is there some reason you are looking to deploy the JSPs to Tomcat's
"examples" webapp as opposed to working on them in your own webapp and
deploying that webapp? The later approach is the one supported by WTP.

Hi Larry and Eric,

Thanks for moving to the correct newsgroup. As I said, I'm new to
Eclipse and JSP's. In the past I had experience with mySAP Enterprise
Portals. JSP's is new to me (so therefore the "examples" webapp), so I'm
still getting my bearings. I don't think I have my Eclipse configured
correctly. But experience will show me the way.
