Hi all,

SWTBot recorder ( http://wiki.eclipse.org/SWTBot/Recorder ) is
monitoring at the events by adding a filter. In order to stay relevant
and supporting events that match the "user grain", it's only monitoring
some events that can easily be mapped to user operations (Modify,
Selection...) but not some low-level ones which are generally pure
technical and not functional, such as KeyDown, KeyUp, MouveMove...

This already works for the main use-cases. But let's speak about the
corner-case scenario which makes me write this post:
I'd like to monitor the shortcut operations. Shortcut can be understood
as KeyDown events that don't trigger other events (as opposed to typed
text which triggers a Modify, or Space on a button which triggers a Select).
So I'm wondering if there is a way to know whether an event is "final"
or whether it does trigger other events.

Any help is welcome and ideas are welcome here, or even better, on the
related bug: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=427096

Cheers,
