The issues with the progress monitor should be corrected in this
week's 3.0 I-build. As for making the formatter action public, no,
we're not going to do that. 3.0 has us making the formatters more
configurable and the intent is to provide an API for running them
headless.

I agree the formatter actoin should remain private. I was refering to
the org.eclipse.wst.sse.core.internal.format.IStructuredFormatPr ocessor
and the corresponding factory.
