In the long run, would it be better to use custom applications for
SWTBot's internal tests instead of the examples from Eclipse? These
examples might be modified or don't contain all what is needed for testing.

On the other hand it saves work to use them, since they don't need to be
written and maintained specifically for SWTBot. I don't know, just asking
myself.

I think there is a copy of the example into SWTBot tests so its the best
of both world. If examples updated and tests break, test needs to be
updated or example not updated.

I could be wrong about this.
