Hi,

Could Xtext take advantage of interoperability with others parser generators (byacc, bison, javacc ...) than antlr ?

Thanks all !

You can write generators and implement support for other parsers if you
have a lot of time on your hands. The separation of concerns is probably
pretty decent, but it is a lot of work.

I realize that in addition to implement a new generator, as Xtext syntax and semantics are pretty much antlr oriented, it is necessary to re-implement xtext ide too.

So, I guess it is 2/3 of software to re-implement.

Thank you very much, Henrik.

Regards.
