I have this strange behaviour which I can reproduce anytime:

The application is running in Tomcat in debug mode. A breakpoint is set.
I reach the breakpoint and inspect some variables. When I hit resume
WTP tries to start the server without stopping it first. An error
message appears that the server's port are already taken. Well, no
surprise, of course they are.

This makes debugging almost useless. Did I find a bug or is it just my
environment?

I use the newest stable Eclipse release, WTP 1.5.2, Tomcat 5.5.20, all
on WinXP.

Problem solved: I made an online update (there was a more recent WTP
version available) and now it works.

I have not seen this behavior, but I may be using different UI. When
you try to resume, what UI are you using?

Cheers,
Larry

That was the "Resume"-button in the "Debug"-view.

It happened once again, but after the update it is not reproducible anymore.
