Can someone PLEASE reply with a copy of a VERY SIMPLE batch example using EGL IDE 0.8.2 that simply reads from a database, prefer iseries DB2 but anything will work. Once it reads data simply write a field to the console. I am new to Eclipse/EGL and having FITS trying to get the database piece working. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

I have two simple pieces of advice:
- look for a forum where people have an idea of what EGL stands for. Chances in the JDT forum are not the best.
- reduce the use of your caps key, which may be perceived as some form of yelling

good luck
Stephan
