it may sound trivial and simple, but for whatever reasons I don't seem to
be able to change the font used for editing JavaScript. No matter what
font definition I change, for JS files I always get Sans-Serif instead of
Monospace as the font.

When looking at Window->Preferences->General->Appearance->Colors and
Fonts->Structured Editor I see that this is set to Monospace.

All other editors (JSP, Java, XML, ...) use the correct font, only the JS
editor refuses to be a nice thing.

So can someone please tell me where I am wrong?

PS: this is Eclipse 3.2.0 with all "Callisto" updates available as of now.
