Today it's my first time to update my eclipse with AJDT plugin, since some Spring plugins are depending on it. What confused me is why AJDT has so many update site urls? v43, v42, amd so on? Why other plugins doesn't have such complex updates? Frankly say, this completely ruined the convention of eclipse update.

Cann't AJDT be updated through one site? And when JDT core is not compatible, is it possible to updated automatically? Thanks.

The AJDT version that you need is dependent on the Eclipse version. The reason is that AJDT makes use of internal APIs that change between Eclipse releases. Which version of Eclipse is your STS based on?
