Hello.
Im trying to configure EGit to do automatic pulls from a branch, but egit tells me to introduce a configuration for my branch (branch.branch_name.merge).
I know this can be configured in the configuration file of EGit.
Is there any way to introduce a generic system for all branches, like

[branch "*"]
merge = refs/heads/...

???

I cant find a way to automate the pull of a branch.

Thanks.

- you may click a local branch in the repositories view and click "Configure Branch..." to configure the tracking branch
- if you create a new local branch based on a remote tracking branch it's automatically configured
- on the remote tracking branch you want to track click "Create branch..." and specify the pull strategy, the dialog
will automatically configure the tracking relationship
- AFAIK there is no way to configure this in a generic way
