Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of learning Java,using the Eclipse IDE.I have Ubuntu 13.04(Linux distro) as the OS.I am unable to install Eclipse.

Can anyone please help ?

I am using the below link for downloading the eclipse :
http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/

The downloaded file is an archive file(.gz).When I am trying to extract it , I am getting an error.

I tried to re-download the package , and now it's installed fine.
Seems , the download file was currupt.
Thanks again ! Now I can start learning Java.
