When I try to create a Dynamic Web Project in WTP, the web.xml shows this
error:
Referenced file contains errors
( http://www.ibm.com/webservices/xsd/j2ee_web_service_client_1 _1.xsd). But
my import is this:
<web-app xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" version="2.4"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee
http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/web-app_2_4.xsd">

What's going wrong about it???

Thanks in advance

I have the same problem for both WTP 1.0 and 1.0.1. Does IBM move the page
recently?

Same problem with 1.0.1 but 1.5 seems OK.

I didn't know why IBM has removed this link but if you go to:

http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee

at the end of the page the link to IBM site is mapped to:

http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/j2ee_web_services_client_1_1 .xsd

I found similar posts in 1Q 2005. How is it possible to have similar
problems now if IBM removed the link one year ago?

Ciao D.

Same problem with the just released WTP 1.0.2...

What it's not clear to me is how WTP 1.5 is able to handle this error
considering that offical Sun j2ee_1_4.xsd has a reference to the IBM site:

<xsd:include
schemaLocation=" http://www.ibm.com/webservices/xsd/j2ee_web_services_client_ 1_1.xsd"/>

that's a broken link.

Sorry for my previous append on 1.0.2....
Due an amount of strange problems on my old workspaces:
- .JETEmitters classpath problems
- Webapp Java Build Path not recognizing my re-created server Tomcat
libraries

I've delete all stuff and started with a clean workspace.
Create a webapp and everthing seems OK validating my web.xml.

I believe something wrong at IBM side last weekend and the problem may
have been fixed today. I got everything correct today^-^.

Please ignore my previous reply. I still have the problem for the web.xml.
Not sure what's the problem (some situations good and some situations not
functional). Sorry IBM if the problem is not caused by the link itself.
