Hi,
The company I work in develops new plug-ins for eclipse. It uses extension
points for using WTP features. Is there a point in running the automated
junit tests with the new plug-ins? or the results of the WTP tests run will
be identical with and without the new plug-ins?

Thank you,
Moty

Hi Moty,

I'd say that depends on how you extend WST and how the tests are written.
I can't say for sure either way. Some tests may fail with extensions in
the test environment. If you have the time to deal with some growing pains
(I'm not aware of other adopters running the WTP test suite) then I know
we'd appreciate feedback about where our tests are not written in a way to
support adopters.
