Tasktop is looking for a software engineer with aptitude and a deep passion for driving quality in a series of software products. This special candidate has a natural ability to understand business value, with an appreciation for Agile software engineering principles. As a Quality Assurance Software Engineer, you will help to drive a new level of innovation in the practices that we use to test our products, with a tendency towards creating repeatable systems and automation. The best candidate will have a solid understanding of testing and quality assurance techniques with the ability to apply this knowledge to a complex product.
You will become an integral part of a world-class team developing market changing software products that help people connect their software delivery lifecycle. You will specialize in testing integrations against multiple versions of third party software in multiple environments and configurations. This job is not for the faint of heart and will help Tasktop change the world.
Qualifications
If you're driven by quality practices, automating quality and be part of a great team then this might be the right job for you. Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Experience in testing modular software systems
- Familiarity with commercial and open source ALM systems such as IBM RTC, HP QC, Bugzilla, Microsoft TFS, Atlassian JIRA
- Understanding of scripting and programming languages
- Knowledge of best practices in software testing and development
- Self-motivated and team-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Know how to work in an Agile way
Exceptional candidates will also have the following qualifications:
- Experience in building and testing Java, OSGi systems, and Eclipse-based Products
- Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Mac OS
The successful candidate will be team oriented and willing to work in a dynamic environment.
Compensation
