Hello guru's,

I am using BIRT 4.3.0 , when i am running the report in Excel(Xls) the image in the report output is not getting displayed. even i have "uk.co.spudsoft.birt.emitters.excel_4.3.0.v201306091613" emitter installed .

can anyone guide me please........

The spudsoft emitter should work for images. Is this for all images for you? Can you attach an example that I can run where this is not working for you? Thanks!

Hi Michael,

Thanks for response....

As i said "uk.co.spudsoft.birt.emitters.excel_4.3.0.v201306091613" is already installed

when i am running the report in XLS: image(present inheader) is not dispalying and Date& time(present in footer) is not displaying.

when i am running the report in XLSX: Image is displaying in header but with very large size and Date& time(present in footer) is not displaying.

when i am running the report in XLS_SPUDSOFT:getting following error "+ org.eclipse.birt.report.service.api.ReportServiceException: Error happened while running the report."

can u please guide me with ur valuable suggestions

Yes, the spudsoft emitter comes with BIRT 4.3, so it's definitely installed already. I see what you're talking about though. It appears to be saying it cannot find DigestUtils.jar which is a part of the apache codec jar, which is there. Please log a bug for this in the bugzilla and post the bug info in here for future reference. I'll see if I can find a way around it for now. I'll let you know if I do.
