New dropdown always opens below edit field [message #1090570]

I saw that the new dropdown field opens under the edited field.
When I am under in the table, sometimes the options are behind the nattable and I can not click on all the options. So that's not real convenient.

I can reproduce it in the examples in "everythings but the kitchen sink". In the example it is not a real problem, because there are only 2 options and both are clickable. But it is a problem in my application.

Does anybody has a workaround?
Should I file a bug?

Sorry but I don't understand what your issue is? What do you mean with "under"? And how can we reproduce the issue in the kitchen sink example?

By under I meant below the edit field.
In the old version it opened below the edit field in most cases but it opened above the edit field when there was not sufficient space to open below.

To reproduce this in the kitchen sink example.
1. Place the application so that the grid content is at the bottom of the screen (so not only the application, but the grid data)
2. Open the lowest pricing type dropdown.

It will now open, but you can't click on both options, because that is the end of the screen.
