Sir,

I created a jsp page and from that i used an href link to call a report.



When i run my project and clicked the link using localhost server, it is displaying the XML file of my report and not the actual report layout.


Why it is happening like this? Is it because Web viewer is not invoked?

Kindly suggest what needs to be done.

What URL did you use? Did you link directly to the rptdesign file instead of through the viewer? If so, you'll need to use a URL that calls the report through the deployed viewer.
