Hi,

I wonder if I'm alone with this problem, but cloning a Git repository is very slow (I have tested EGit 2.2 as well as EGit 3.0.1, the version of Eclipse is 4.2).

The clone operation first runs quite fast to 99%, but then seems to be stuck at 100% for a long time without any visible reason. Eventually the cloning does finish though.

The same clone operation run on Unix level takes about 1 minute.

Any ideas on how to debug further?

Hi Andrey,

It definitely sounds like the same issue!

I didn't actually realize that I should also browse through the JGit Bug list (on top of EGit and Eclipse) so thanks for pointing me to the right direction.
