hi

i have eclipse 3.1, java 1.4 and java 1.5, tomcat 5
i installed web tools platform...

i trie to seting Server Runtime Environment like this tutorial said...

when i go to preference -> server -> Installed Server Runtime Environnement,
i click add, select tomcat and add folder
usr/share/tomcat5 eclipse said me:

The Tomcat installation directory is not correct. It does not point to a
valid Tomcat installation.

i let searched eclipse for a server on /..... don't find nothing

tomcat run without problem

any idea?

Hello!
 
 I've just tried to do it with wtp 1.0
and tomcat 5.0.28 (under Windows) - everything works fine.
 
 For tomcat installation I've just downloaded
zip file from apache.org, unzipped it and set tomcat installation path
in "Add Server Runtime" dialog to my C:\java\jakarta-tomcat-5.0.28
 
 Hope it will helps.
