This forum wasn't used very actively in the past - neither by users nor by us committers.
Most of the communication happens on the mailing list, via twitter or Google+ - and keeping
many different sites like the project blog, the project twitter account, and our google+ page in sync is quite time consuming. So it's no surprise that the forum somehow lost priority. As a consequence, we decided now to move completely over to Google+ for news, posts, announcements and general status messages about the project.
