I see a post at:

http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/489234/ about setting HUDSON_BUILDS and HUDSON_WORKSPACES.

I also see a link to http://wiki.eclipse.org/Using_Hudson/Starting_and_Accessing_Hudson#Environment_Variables in the same ticket.

I don't see from either of these posts where these environmental variables are actually set or passed to Hudson to override the default values.

I've tried setting them in /etc/default/hudson but I don't know the arg to use to pass the value.

I've looked at /etc/init.d/hudson and I see --env is used to pass HUDSON_HOME.
