Hi!

Is there a small example how to call Flock in standalone?

Btw. Flock does not understand the "to" keyword (Cf. paper "Model migration with Epsilon Flock")
migrate TypeA to TypeB {
...
}

I get an error message:
mismatched input 'to' expecting 'ignoring'

Best regards,
Alex.

Hi Alex,

I believe that since that paper was published, the syntax of Flock has evolved so there's now a dedicated syntax for retypings (retype TypeA to TypeB {}). For an up-to-date description of Flock please refer to chapter 10 of the Epsilon book [1].

Cheers,
Dimitris

Hallo Dimitris!

Yes ... I want to answer right now. I have found in the forum the same problem, and solved it with "retype".
Because of this retype problem, I had also problems with the standalone part, since my "original" model was serialized, after retyping the "migrated" model is serialized ... perfectly!

Thanks!
Best regards,
Alex.
