Hi, John,

A file named xyz.di considers all xyz.* files to be constituents of its
logical model (I think). When the xyz.di is deleted, all of the other
xyz.* are also deleted.

Your DI file has the same name as the project; perhaps some important
file was deleted. Select your project and choose "Restore from Local
History..." in the context menu to see what other files were deleted,
and restore any that are not the *.{di,uml,notation}.

HTH,

Christian

nice trick... ot seems .classpath and .project files are being deleted with the .di file. But restorin using local history works. Now on to my other question which is of the same importance http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/489285/

Hi, John,

If .classpath and .project are being deleted, then that is definitely a
bug worth reporting on bugzilla.

Thanks! (an advance)
