Hi everyone,

My plug-in implements a simple preference page with the following code:
public class SolsticePreferencePage extends PreferencePage implements
    IWorkbenchPreferencePage

The plug-in is singleton and is activated once one of its classes are loaded.

I extend Eclipse preferences with the following code in my plugin.xml:
   <extension
         id="com.kivancmuslu.www.solstice.preferences"
         name="Solstice Preference Page"
         point="org.eclipse.ui.preferencePages">
      <page
            class="com.kivancmuslu.www.solstice.server.SolsticePreferencePage"
            id="com.kivancmuslu.www.solstice.preferences"
            name="Solstice">
      </page>
   </extension>

This extension was working perfectly until recently (I don't know what caused the break though). However, now, when I test my plug-in, I can see the "Solstice" preference page in the preference menu, however when I click on it, I get the following error deterministically:
Unable to create the selected preference page.

As you can see from the stack trace, the code being executed is completely in the Eclipse realm. Interestingly, the existing preference pages work allright (e.g., Run/Debug).

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing the error, or what might be the best way to debug it?

Best regards, thank you,

I wanted to let everyone know that this problem automatically resolved when I updated my Eclipse to 4.3.RC3 (Kepler release candidate 3). I still don't know the reason of the problem, however it seems to be related to a change in the milestone releases.
