as far as I know, the product export wizard will not use the target
platform when creating the product, but only the created p2 repository
with all the included features (not the required features)... I wouldn't
know how to solve this in the export wizard.
I create products (both from Eclipse, and headlessly) with Buckminster;
in that case, I can also reuse the target platform (by first creating
automatically a p2 repository from the target platform...), see my blog
