Hi,

is necessary to call Platform.startup() in my application? Once this call is omitted everything still works without problems. If I understand correctly this method initialises OSGi, but in e4 RCP application this step is done by e4 framework?

Please correct me if I am wrong.
Thanks a lot.

Ondrej.

You're correct you shouldn't need to call Platform.startup() you can download an example showing this from http://www.birt-exchange.org/org/devshare/deploying-birt-reports/1344-eclipsecon-2011-api-examples/
