Sometimes, when it comes to write unit tests, introspection can be used.

The Accessive library provides a nice small wrapper for the Java introspection functions.

It was recommended in the "Tools" section of the Junit.org site (see webarchive)

It would be nice to be able to use this library to write tests for Eclipse Scout.

What do you think?

That would be fine for me. Looks to be a good library. Please open a bug request and we'll track it for Luna.
