"Searching for local file" problem in Juno [message #1049159]

I recently upgraded to Juno, and all seems to be well, except with debugging one of my PHP projects. When debugging with xdebug, every line I step through, I get:

An internal error occurred during: "Searching for local file...".
Illegal or not full path:

But it happily debugs anyway, everything works as expected. It just pukes up what appears to be a spurious error on every step.

If it makes any difference, I'm starting the session using &XDEBUG_SESSION_START=ide_name on the URL from an external browser, and running through a dbgpproxy. But the other half dozen PHP projects all work just fine, and I've checked and re-checked settings and debug configs till I'm cross-eyed, can't see anything odd about that one project.

TIA for any suggestions. Or failing that, good lightbulb jokes.
