Hi all,
I would like to know if there are any known plans to upgrade the Xerces bundle.
Latest version available of Xerces on the Apache project site is 2.11.0.

Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Massimo.

P.S: just in case who can point-me to some tutorials on how to do it on my own?

There's no current plans. The way things work in Orbit, is that first
some Eclipse Project (committer) must want to use it, and submit the
necessary paper work.
And then, someone contribute it to Orbit.

There is a long "how to" document about creating bundles for Orbit, but
that's closely to the Orbit build system.

Also, in Orbit, we "split up" Xerces into separate bundles. Not sure how
much of this would change for Xerces 2.11.0 but that is described in
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Orbit/Xerces_in_Eclipse
