Hi,

I'm missing a menu action for the (free form) connection which allows to remove all bend points.
Or am I overlooking a possibility?

Background is that eTrice is using KIELER to layout its state machine diagrams.
Some layout algorithms introduce quite many bend points.
When I want to manually adapt the layout afterwards then the bend points make it really cumbersome.

Kind regards,
Henrik

Henrik,

this is currently only possible by drawing the bendpoint either to one of
the end shapes or at a position on the straight connection between it's
neighbour points.

You may create such a custom feature yourself or if you think that would
make sense as framework functionality, feel free to open an enhancement
Bugzilla.

Hi Michael,

you are right, the custom feature is simple enough.
Nevertheless it would make sense in the framework since I feel the use case is quite common.

My background is that the KIELER layouter sometimes introduces really lots of those bend points.
