Hi,

I am not sure this is the right forum for this question, but since it is RAP related I figured I kick it off here. More than happy to move it to another forum if deemed off-topic here.

So here is the issue: I created a branding entry point in plugin.xml, but Eclipse (3.7.2 and 3.8.2 RAP version) doesn't seem to like it. In both versions I get:

Unknown extension point: 'org.eclipse.rap.ui.branding'

I created another workspace from scratch, as per some suggestions out there, but to no avail. I also found some suggestions to change the workspace class path, but I am not sure if that is still relevant for the current version(s).

Nor sure what else to try. Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Erwin

Hi Erwin,
did you install and activate the RAP runtime target platform? Do you
have a dependency to "org.eclipse.rap.ui" bundle in your MANIFEST.MF?
Best,
Ivan

Ivan,

Thanks for the suggestions. When I added org.eclipse.rap.ui per your suggestion to the MANIFEST, I got an error that the bundle could not be found ...

I had assumed that all the rap bundles were part of the Eclipse RCP/RAP download. Apparently that is not the case. I found the bundle in the RAP-1.5 runtime. Problem solved.

Thanks for the help.

Regards,

Erwin
