Hi guys,
So this is my first post on the eclipse forum , I have looked on Google and looked on the forums but I haven't seen a topic like this, I'd really like to know so here I am.

I only started getting into eclipse last week and very eager to make an android program. I know I am jumping into the deep end but I learn quicker by just making.

Anyway enough of the gibberish, as you may have all known Ubuntu will be releasing a mobile OS;one thing I really like is their panels to store apps. Some people have made apps following the Ubuntu theme, I was wondering how can I make these panels in eclipse? I'd like to open my panel from the bottom of the screen with a swipe gesture anyone help me out?

If you still don't know what I'm talking about a good example oftthese panels are... An app called swapps from the play store download it and check it out I'd like my panels to be like that but from the bottom of the screen and you swipe up to reveal the panel

I am very sorry if I posted in the wrong place this is my first post and I am new to eclipse don't know what half the titles mean =)

Thanks guys

I really don't see how this is related to the JDT tools provided by
Eclipse or Eclipse in general. The Eclipse forums aren't general
programming forums. These forums are for questions specific to Eclipse
and the plugins provided by the Eclipse Foundation projects.

Your question is related to Ubuntu and I would guess Unity development.
You won't find answers to these types of questions on the Eclipse
forums as the forum members generally aren't Ubuntu developers.

From which you conclude that Eclipse people know everything about swapps?
You got to be kidding.
