I have been using Eclipse for Android development for a couple of months with no problems.
I downloaded and installed the Eclipse IDE for Java Developers (Juno SR1), and then downloaded and installed the latest Android SDK.
Now I am interested in installing other plugins for Eclipse, and/or checking for updates.
But when I select Help->Check for Updates, it says
"There are no update sites to search."
Similarly, if I select Help->Install New Software..., I get the Available Software dialog, but there are no sites to search, and when I select the drop-down list, the list is empty.
If I go to the "Available Software Sites" in preferences, there are no available software sites listed.
While searching the forum, and looking at the Help, it seems there should be a long list of default software URLs?
So why is my list empty?
And how do I get the list of sites?
Do I have to enter each site URL manually?
If so, where do I find the list of URLs to enter?
Please help.
Many thanks from an Eclipse newbie.
