Hi,

Does VE describe a UI Component in form of a model from which then the
actual program code is generated? I am thinking of an abstract UI
Description Language like Mozilla´ s XUL. Community could then provide
code generators for any widget toolkit out there (I am currently looking
for something to generate ocaml/lablgtk code. Tools exist but I´ hate to
use something else than eclipse).

I think this is especially interesting now since the VE project appears
to start boiling again.

Felix

As said by Philippe, we are preparing on this subproject. I see more and
more requests on the XML GUI. We have already implemented such solution for
our customer. This editor is in product now, which is the base of our
contribution.
