Hi,

I encountered the following problem:

I use a jar library in my Brit report. When I update this .jar lib my Birt report doesn't notice it and uses still the old one.

But after restarting BIRT the report uses the updated .jar lib.
Is there a possibility to avoid the restart of BIRT?

Is this with the designer? Are you using the jar as a resource or placing it in the class path of the designer?

Hi,

thanks for the reply.
Sorry that I'm late with my answer.
I'm using the .jar File via the Ressources.
I don't know what you exactly mean with the designer. I'm using the preview of BIRT

Meanwhile I tested a bit but I couldn't find a sense full answer.
The effect never occurs on my desktop computer at my office, but sometimes on my notebook (not always!!)

If I find an answer to this problem I will post it ....
