I'm going to report a bug with eclipse, but first I need the proper name of the component.

When having many files open, eclipse compresses the space/filenames and gives a symbol at the end where one can list up all the open files ">>1". The window/box that opens up, what it the proper name for it?

Also when standing on some code pressing CTRL+Space opens a window/box with code documentation/information (Javadoc, doxygen).

I need the proper naming for these windows/boxes. First for checking if the bug already is reported, secondly for reporting correctly.

Edit: Uploaded some screenshots of the components in question.

I think the terms would be the chevron and content-assist.

Eclipse Platform committer. Ask me about Eclipse support, training, and consulting.
