Hi:

We're running OC4J on Linux 64-bit with the Java 1.5 packaged with OC4J.
I have setup and run Agent Controller 4.2.0 successfully on the Linux box.
However when I specify -XrunpiAgent:server=enabled or -XrunpiAgent as a
JVM parameter on my OC4J instance, it goes into an unusable state. I
can't undo the JVM parameters and the instance will refuse to start. The
only thing I can do is delete the instance and start over.

I will also post this on Metalink to get Oracle's feedback.

Any help is appreciated.

Eric

Hi Eric,

Only 32 bit JVM is supported by the Agent Controller with the pre-JVM 1.5
profiling agent (aka JVMPI agent).
Please try with a 32 bit JVM or use a more latest TPTP version which
supports 64bit JVM. eg. v4.5.1.
