Why generated file in /src-gen is removed when input file is not valid [message #969661]

I want to open input file and output file side by side in eclipse to watch, how the output is changed as I code in input file.

It works fine, when the input file is valid. But if the input file is invalid, generated file is deleted and the editor in eclipse is closed. In this case I need to open output file in eclipse once again.

Is it possible to disable output file deletion when input file is not valid?
