Hi.
I was tired of all the IWAV0181E parsing errors, so I tried to upgrade my ve
to the newest version.
But, alas, after the upgrade, ve just dissapeared!
Someone who knows what to do? I tried upgrading from eclipse 3.2 to 3.2.1,
but it didn't help.
Please help.

When you say it disappeared, do you mean

1) it doesn't show up in the Help->About->Features?
2) it doesn't show on the Open With-> popup menu
3) it doesn't automatically open a class with the VE that it did in the
past.

If (3), look at Open With->Visual Editor. Sometimes the workspace gets
reset so that it opens a class with the default editor (which is the
Java editor) instead of the last editor that was used on the class
(which would be the VE).

If (1) or (2) verify there are no error messages related to VE in the
..log file.

When I switch versions, in install.log I just get feature-disable success

I cannot seem to find any other log-file. Where should it be located?
However, the first (and only the first time) after I have installed/changed
versions to the newest ve-version,
I get this error message:

There is something missing. It sounds like a pre-req was not downloaded.
Did you hit the Add required features button when you use the update
manager on VE?

Check the Help->Configuration->Manage Configuration dialog and see if VE
is marked as disabled.

Have you tried adding it to the editors list for the file type?

Go into Window | Preferences | General | Editors | File Associations.

Choose the file type you want to edit (Like *.jsp)

In the associated editors tab, it may not be there. If not, click the "Add"
button and select Visual Editor from the list.
Click OK through the forms until you're back to your editor and it should
be there in the context menu. when you right-click a .jsp page.

This is also where you can make it the default btw (Highlight and click the
default button after adding it.)
