Hi,

i generated a report with some charts. on the y-series i placed tooltips for interactivity=onmouseover.

When running the report in birt all works fine.

If i run it with tomcat (localhost:8080/BirtViewer/run?__report=Charts.rptdesign) the tooltips are not working allright. Most of them are missing. Others are placed on the wrong position.

I tested it with IE (compatibily IE7) and Firefox. The funny thing: on my first test tooltips worked in firefox with tomcat. then i resized the charts and now they don't do so. resizing again doesn't help.

What's the problem? BIRT, Tomcat or Firefox? Any trick...

Help would be fantastic... I'm really frustrated...

So, they're working in IE and not in Firefox? Can you attach a report design, that uses the sample db, that has this issue?

Hi,

here is an example. in Birt all fine. in firefox nothing. no, in ie it's also not working. some time ago i had a working report in firefox with tooltips. but after i changed it, it's also not working alright.

Hello,

big sorry that i didn't answer.

i was in holidays and haven't checked my mail.

After hours of searching i solved the problem. I installed SVGView303.exe, a svg plugin. Now tooltips in Firefox are available.
